Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy(sigh) received generally favorable reviews and was the highest grossing film at the British box office for three consecutive weeks.It is in theaters all over the world competing with Sherlock Holmes and MI-4..But In our opinion those two movies are way too smarter than this spy-drama here.Classic and accurate cinematography,subtle acting by reputed actors like Gary Oldman,And the one liner of the plot("In the bleak days of the Cold War, espionage veteran George Smiley is forced from semi-retirement to uncover a Soviet agent within MI6's echelons".) sounds like an interesting thriller.
But very very unfortunately it fails to impress us as a thriller and turns out to be a boring-completely avoidable in theaters-and a time pass movie on DVD(Only if you don't have any other options).So don't waste your money on this,wait for the DVD and watch it at home.On a positive note this story can be a good stage drama ,but again drama also has to be more interesting than this.
